I came here with some friends for a friend's birthday. Our server explained to us how the menu works and the process step by step,since one friend and me were new to this place. We loved the experience it gave us, despite my perceived notion of small portion sizes by the end we were all full which meant no room for dessert unfortunately.

I hadn't been here for a while but I don't like how the menu is laid out. You used to be able to choose different packages for different prices. Now they're all the same price no matter what and it's expensive. Plus, If I'm spending $45 per person, we should be able to choose different cheeses and desserts and not all agree on one. They tell you you have to have a larger group to have more than one pot. I definitely will only go once in a great while unless they're are specials. It's not really worth it.

We typically visit the Melting Pot once a year for my birthday so yesterday the Mr. made a reservation for the 2 of us as my birthday is approaching this week. The menu is typically pretty consistent and we have never had an issue. Our service was great and the food was good as always! If you are looking for something with a quick in and out this is not it, make sure you have 3 - 4 hours to sit and relax and eat eat eat.

I just wanted to check it out since I had never been to one before. I also wanted to kill some times before my late afternoon meeting. It was really a different experience with the hot pot boiling in front of me and those long forks I had to use to dip the little pieces of bread in the hot melting cheeses. The manager was very nice and took care of me while he did his bar tender job at the same time as I sat by myself at the window.The food was OK maybe because I was not hungry I did really enjoy it as much. I should have tried the chocolate fondue instead, it would have probably been better.
